How it works
The amount financed is the price, plus usage tax if you include it, minus your down payment and your trade equity (trade value minus what you still owe on it). If you owe more than the trade is worth, that difference gets added to the loan instead.
The payment uses the standard loan formula. The default 7.5% APR is just a placeholder. Your actual rate depends on your credit, the lender, the term, and the vehicle, so plug in a real quote when you have one. Lender fees, registration, and dealer fees aren't included.
